This past week, we learned about capacity and made a gallon person. We learned to solve conversions in capacity such as 2 1/2 gallons = 1 gallon. We finished reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a fabulous story. And we continue working on writing poetry, learning our cursive letters, and making iMovies:)
We are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My favorite part is when Augustus Gloop goes up the pipe and gets stuck in the pipe. I also liked the Oompa-Loompas. They have long hair and they are funny. They like to sing.
Today I learned how to make a trailer on the I-Pad and I'm doing the adrenaline trailer for Babe Ruth. I am going to record myself acting like him. And it will be very hard to do stuff like I am left handed. I want to do it lefty style because he was a lefty. Thank you.
Today in class I learned how to make a movie trailer on the I-Pad. I am going to make a retro theme trailer on Alexander Graham Bell. Ms. Lewis found his voice on NPR. We listened to Aleck's voice and it sounded ghost-like. Workers in the Smithsonian found his recording and it is about 135 years old.
In other news, tomorrow we get to wear blue for child abuse awareness. Our students will now be able to write blogs about what they are learning at school. Each day, a different student will have the opportunity to blog. Students who want to blog more often will be given the opportunity.
